Manage account and profile data

Keep your profile accurate and choose what other participants can see.

  1. Open Settings to review and correct your name, email, and role details.
  2. Adjust profile visibility for mentors and operators in your cohort.
  3. Update your communication preferences at any time.

Control cookies and analytics

Decide which non-essential cookies and analytics you allow.

  1. Use the cookie banner to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
  2. Change your choices later from the privacy controls in Settings.
  3. Essential cookies remain active because the Service cannot run without them.

Tune notifications

Choose which program and product updates reach you, and how.

  1. Turn cohort, mentor, and evidence notifications on or off individually.
  2. Select email or in-app delivery for each category.
  3. Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message.

Export your data

Take a portable copy of your workspace whenever you need it.

  1. Request an export from Settings to download your evidence and decisions.
  2. Receive a machine-readable file you can keep or move elsewhere.
  3. Export before leaving a program to preserve your records.

Delete your account

Remove your account and associated personal data on request.

  1. Start deletion from Settings or by emailing [privacy@ignisgravitas.com].
  2. Review what shared program history is retained versus removed.
  3. Receive confirmation once deletion is complete, subject to legal retention.

Exercise your rights

Ask us to access, correct, or restrict how we use your information.

This policy covers information handled when you use Ignis Gravitas as a founder, mentor, operator, or visitor.

We collect what you provide, what the Service generates as you work, and limited technical data.

  • Program activity: assumptions, experiments, evidence, decisions, mentor feedback, and cohort participation.
  • Technical data: device, browser, log, and usage information collected automatically.
  • Cookies: essential cookies for core functionality and, with consent, analytics cookies.

How we use your information

We use information to operate the Service, support your program, secure accounts, and improve the product.

  • Provide, maintain, and personalize the Service and your role-based workspace.
  • Enable mentor review, operator reporting, and program collaboration.
  • Secure accounts, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Improve features, including AI-assisted guidance, using aggregated and de-identified data.

AI and your data

AI-assisted features process your content to generate suggestions. We do not sell your personal information, and we use de-identified data to improve these features.

Section 04

Role-based sharing of evidence

Your role and program configuration determine who can see your records. You choose what to share.

Ignis Gravitas is a shared workspace. What others see depends on role:

  • Founders control their venture workspace and choose which records enter a review packet.
  • Mentors see the evidence shared with them and the decisions they participate in.
  • Operators see cohort-level participation and portfolio reporting, not private drafts unless shared.

Program operators may act as independent or joint controllers of participant data under their own agreements. Review your program's specific terms for details.

Section 05

When we share information

We share information with service providers and as required by law, never sold for advertising.

  • Service providers who host, process payments, or provide analytics under contract.
  • Program participants according to your role and sharing choices.
  • Legal and safety disclosures when required by law or to protect users.
  • Business transfers in a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your information.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent.

To exercise these rights, use the controls in Settings or contact privacy@ignisgravitas.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

Data retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed and protect it with technical and organizational safeguards.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Shared program history may be retained to preserve the integrity of a cohort's record even after an individual leaves.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and per-account scoping to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of incidents as required by law.

Changes and contact

We will announce material changes and are available for any privacy questions.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. For material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email before they take effect. The "Last reviewed" date above reflects the latest revision.
